Hi! My name is Lenny and I am the SWEETEST girl. I am a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I will be your best friend! I love cuddles and love to play!! I enjoy having another cat around (especially Corrie), but it is not necessary. I just like having someone with me, so I do not feel so alone. I was found in the ditch by the Humane Society. They think someone threw me out of their car window when I was a little kitten, because my face was a little scuffed up and I was so scared that I was not moving. Ever since, I have tried to find another cat to always be with and to help me feel more comfortable. Do you have other cats at your home that are nice? Do you want to adopt Corrie and I together? OR do you have enough time to shower me in love and affection? Just until I feel comfortable with you and your home. If any of those things sound good to you, then I am your girl!!! Trust me, you won't regret it!

Additional adoption info

We require an adoption application be filled out (can be done online or in person). Allow 3 business days to process. Contact the shelter to check on status of application if you do not hear from us in 3 days. Upon approval, fees are $85 for a cat and $150-$250 for a dog. This includes vaccinations and altering. Renters need to demonstrate approval of landlord to have pets. Home visit may be done at the discretion of the shelter. Our adoption contract specifies adopters must comply with local animal ordinances and have current pets neutered if not already done. Animals must be returned to us if owner is no longer able to care for them

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 11am to 4:30 pm. Please call and make an appointment, as we usually only have 1-2 staff members at the shelter at a time.

More about this shelter

We are a private non-profit limited intake no kill shelter that has been serving the county since 1978. We try to take in and care for as many animals as our small shelter can handle. We are an adoption center and not to be confused with Animal Control. We cannot pick up stray animals, that has to be done by the county. Thank you and we look forward to adopting out to you!
