Katarra is a 2-year-old Beglin Shepherd mix who’s basically a four-legged bundle of sunshine. Sweet, silly, and full of personality, this adorable girl has a heart as big as her curiosity. She loves meeting new friends (humans and pups alike!) and is always ready to share a wagging tail, a playful bounce, or a cozy snuggle.
Katarra’s ideal day? Starting with a little morning zoom around the yard, followed by lots of belly rubs, a sniff-filled walk, and maybe a snooze in her favorite sunbeam. She’s smart and eager to please, which makes learning new tricks a total joy—for both her and her humans!

All of Dogs in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea and heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee's are puppies under 6 months-$150, dogs over 6 months-$95, and purebred dogs vary. All of the Cats in our care are Spayed/Neutered, microchipped, Fiv/FeLV Tested, Vaccinated, and kept current on flea preventative. Our adoption fee's are kittens under 6 months-$70 and cats over 6 months-$50.
We do have an adoption application and do not do same day adoptions.

We are open Monday Thru Friday 10am-6pm and on Saturdays from 10am-2pm. We do recommend calling in advanced to make sure we will be open on weekends as we do attend offsite adoption events frequently! Call to make sure the dog you are interested is still at the shelter.

We are a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter providing services to the Texas Hill Country. Our funding comes strictly from donations, grants, and fundraising events.
