Oscar is a 10 month old cutie that arrived at our shelter with his brother, Felix. Terrified and unsure, Oscar and Felix took a little time to warm up to us and adjust to life at a busy animal shelter. Luckily, these brothers are resilient and worked up the courage to trust us. They are now learning that the inside world is a whole lot less scary than outside, and that people are here to love and protect them! They have made so much progress in our care, and we believe they will continue to learn and grow in a home environment!
Oscar is the brave and bold one of the two brothers. He greets you at his kennel door hoping you either brought treats or scratches (or both!) His sweet and affectionate nature would make him such a great lap cat, and if we have learned anything about him in the last few months, it would be that he thrives on gentle persistence and a calm approach. Once Oscar knows you are just there to give him some love, you`re his new favorite person!
While they do love each other a lot, Oscar and Felix do not need to be adopted together and would integrate well into an existing kitty inclusive home! They both do benefit from the company of another feline friend and have tested well with other cats in the shelter.
Oscar is up to date on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, neutered, and current on prevention. All he needs is someone who will give him a chance to learn, grow, and thrive!
