My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Palido (white). Foster mom calls my brothers and I "The Lost Boys" since it took our rescuers a long time to find us to bring us to BKB. I am a poofy, foofy dude and very playful! I am just starting to want to cuddle with foster mom a bit but when I'm done being held, I will let you know I want to resume playtime. I am a typical male kitten, curious and getting into things, then crashing for a nap to start over again. I love playing with my brothers and there is a dog at this house too that has a big tail I am very interested in but otherwise not very interested in playing with her. There is also a cat tree that we have the best time playing on! I'm not afraid of people and would love to find a home with one of my brothers if you don't already have a young companion for me.

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Palido will need to be adopted with one of their siblings Durazno, Calabaza and En Fuego.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250. For a pair, the adoption fee is $500.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
