Aphrodite is a very affectionate and curious mama who has more than earned her title as a goddess. She recently finished weaning four of her own kittens and two that she lovingly took in as her own—talk about a resilient and nurturing soul. Despite all she’s been through, Aphrodite remains incredibly sweet and enjoys gentle affection and exploring her surroundings.
In foster care, Aphrodite lived successfully with other cats and dogs and had exposure to children, showing that she can adapt well to many home environments. She would do best with a family willing to give her a little time and patience to acclimate and decompress. At the shelter, she prefers having her own space—and honestly, after raising six kittens, who could blame her? Aphrodite is ready to be the one cared for now and is looking for a home where she can finally relax and be loved.
Adoption Info: Our cat adoption fee is $110 and includes their spay/neuter surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and preventatives. You can find our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-one or stop by to see us Tuesday–Saturday from 1–4pm!

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.
