Kiba is a young dog bursting with puppy energy and enthusiasm for life. He’s sweet, eager, and full of potential, but he’s still very much a puppy who is learning the ropes. Kiba will do best in a structured home that can provide consistent routines, regular exercise, and plenty of mental enrichment to help him thrive.
Kiba is currently a bit on the skinny side and will need continued high-calorie meals (plus some extra goodies) to help him safely gain weight. With proper nutrition and care, he’s expected to fill out nicely. He’s a friendly, loving boy who just has a lot of puppy in him and will benefit from basic training to learn good manners and channel his energy in positive ways. The good news? Kiba does appear to be potty trained, which gives him a great head start.
Kiba is looking for an adopter who understands young dogs, is ready to invest time and patience, and is excited to help a playful pup grow into a well-balanced companion.
Our dog adoption fee is $150 and includes their neuter, microchip, heartworm testing, age appropriate vaccinations, and preventatives. You can find our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-1 or stop in Tuesday-Saturday from 1pm-4pm to meet all of our adoptable pets!

Additional adoption info
Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.
