Mami’s story is one of incredible strength and resilience. She came to us with one of the highest fevers we’ve ever seen. Tragically, three of her kittens passed away before she reached us, and when Mami arrived with her two remaining babies, Atlas and Bandit, all three were battling serious fevers. With subcutaneous fluids, antibiotics, and—most importantly—time, Mami pulled through.
Today, Mami and her two babes are thriving and ready to start their next chapter. Mami is an athletic, affectionate, and adaptable mama who has shown just how strong and loving she truly is. She enjoys attention, moves with confidence, and has proven she can overcome even the toughest circumstances. Mami is ready for a home where she can finally be the one cared for and cherished, just as she deserves.

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.

Come meet our cats and dogs Tuesday through Friday from 1pm to 4pm in our open-concept adoption space! Here, you can sit and spend time with our kitties in a relaxed environment to get to know each personality. We have a meet and greet room for our doggies, so you can spend time with them in a larger space or walk with them outside!
