You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. To start, let's point out the obvious... She's adorable, right? Meet Butterbean. This adorable girl is a 2 year old pug, and yes... She is blind. But that's not all she is. She is kind, she is adventurous and most of all she is brave!
This little bean was found, sutures still intact from her eye removal surgery, tied to a random 7-Eleven trash can. She did her time at the local shelter, but her people never showed up for her. But we did...
Now, Butterbean is exploring this new sightless life ahead of her, and she is doing AMAZING at it! She has learned to extend her legs while walking, so she can feel if something's ahead of her. She uses her ears to listen for your footsteps so she can follow along behind you! So smart!!
This sweet girl is crate trained and potty trained, and gets along with all other animals (dogs, cats, chickens, goats). She loves people with everything she has, and loves to play with crinkle and squeaky toys!
Although She is doing amazing, navigating life without eyes can be stressful and unsafe at times. Therefore we are looking for a home that will continue her professional training. She and her new family's ability to communicate properly with each other will enable her to live life to the absolute fullest!
