Milton was fostered for 5 years by a veterinary x-ray professional who needed to rehome him due to her child's allergies. She said Milton was shy and also lived with other dogs and cats at the home.
It's been 2 months and Milton will not come out from underneath the bed. He will only come out when no one is in the house or at night time...... He uses the litter box, eats his dry food and water bedside and attempts to open up all the closets and doors in the house nightly as well as retrieve treats in his little cat house. Im using Felliway follwed by Therapet phermones diffuser to help with no success.
We are absolutely unable to touch. Milton, and he hisses when he sees us look under the bed.We recently acquired a 2yr old to love due to the inability to LOOK at Milton and now this tortie is eating ALL food provided. Not Good!
This is absolutely no life for this poor baby..... And for my sanity I wish to rehome him to someone versus dropping him off at the humane society.Please help.
