Cashmere is a gentle, playful young dog who loves all people. She is friendly with children of any age, adult men and women, and dogs of all sizes. She does not have experience with cats.
With a quiet personality overall, Cashmere cycles between bursts of high activity and long periods of calm. She enjoys toys, fetch, and water, and she can be both goofy and affectionate. She is crate trained and will willingly go inside even with minimal encouragement. While she is playful and loving, she can be timid at first and appreciates patience and reassurance from her people.
Cashmere came in as a stray and was not in perfect condition, but she has a wonderful attitude and a joyful spirit. She is extremely attached to her brother and becomes sad when he is not nearby. She also loves to tease him playfully and follow him around.
Cashmere is happiest when she can stay close to her family and engage in frequent play. She will thrive with adopters who can offer affection, structure, and patience as she continues to grow in confidence.
Cashmere is from Texas.

*Rescue puppies are notorious for losing their birth certificates before entering our rescue. We cannot guarantee the breed or size they will be full grown.*
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
