My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Riff Raff just turned 19 months old (yes, there was a party at the vet for him! lol 😂), he weighed in at 79 lbs., he is neutered, is up-to-date on all his shots, slightly sensitive skin and stomach, but no known allergies. This gentle giant was listed at SEACCA as a black lab mix, and we believe he is part Great Dane, because of his jowls. He loves being next to you and spending time with you, he probably thinks he is a lap dog! He likes to run, jump, play, and greet people by jumping on them….unfortunately the poor beast doesn’t know his own size and strength 😢 He is especially fond of “Kong” brand toys, and loves maro-bite dog treats. He needs a family that can take him on walks and show him off! He is a love bug.

Additional adoption info

An adoption application must be filled out prior to meeting any of our dogs.
Please call or e-mail us for an application.
An adoption contract will be signed, a home check will be done, and a donation is required upon adoption and placement of the dog.
Our adoptions are only open to Southern California residents. We do not adopt our dogs to households with children under 10 years old.
There is NO guarantee made, express or implied, that any person requesting to adopt a dog through DRD Rescue, will automatically be approved. All adoptions are subject to acceptance based on a review process that requires collecting information and visiting the applicant's home. Decisions on placing dogs in adoptive and foster homes are based solely on the judgment of DRD Rescue’s volunteers and coordinators, and adoption applications may be denied for various reasons. DRD Rescue reserves the right to refuse to adopt to anyone without disclosing the reasons, and to make all decisions regarding placement or final disposition of any rescued dog in its care whether in, or being placed in, a foster or adoptive home.
