My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a 1.5 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!

Meet Max! Max is a handsome guy who is ready to find a loving and understanding forever family who can provide him with the time and space while he adjusts in a new environment. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was very nervous and unsure about his surroundings and it did take him some time to adjust. Once he is comfortable with his surroundings, he is a sweet and low-key guy who enjoys spending time with his favorite people while getting slow, gentle pets. He does prefer his solitude just as much at times and enjoys spending his days leisurely exploring his surroundings, batting around his toys on occasion, or hopping up in the windows.

Max is a shy guy who does prefer his independence at times and will let it be known when that is the case. So, he would do best in a cat savvy home with older children at least 8 years of age or older who can respect his space when needed and are able to understand his cues. He may do ok with other calm and respectful pets in the home given slow and proper introductions to one another.
