Meet Munchie - Just turned 3yrs on Nov 3, 2025 - Female

Munchie “Munch Munch” is a tiny little girl who just turned 3 years old on November 3, 2025. She seems to have a form of dwarfism so she will not get bigger than she already is. But don’t let her size fool you. Munchie has a mighty “roar” or in her case, a quirky little squeak. It was observed in her foster home that she does not care for other cats. They intimidate her, and she lets them know she doesn’t want them around her. So, she hides a lot. She has never been around little kids so she needs an adult only household.
Munchie has a beautiful coat! She is a piebald marbled Tabby with a very cute pink nose. The splash of white covers her face, chest, tummy, all fours, and the tip of her tail. Her eyes have a sweet “worried” look to them guaranteed to melt your heart. Munchie has impeccable litter habits.
Munchie needs an experienced cat owner who has the patience to work with her every day. She likes it when you talk to her, she’s a good listener, and will approach if you greet her with an extended finger. In time she will come out of her shell once she learns to trust you and, we believe, without other cats in the home to intimidate her, she will have a better chance to feel secure and to be able to blossom into the reigning queen we know she is.
Munchie needs to be in a home where she is the ONLY pet. She is very timid, so a slow deliberate approach works best with her. Munchie knows her name and will pay attention when you call her. She will stand and watch as you work in the kitchen just in case you decide to hand out treats. Munchie knows what “Treats!” means. She will be the first to get in position in the receiving line and squeak in delight to let you know she is ready. She will take the treats from your hand once she gets to know you. It will be your key to getting personally acquainted with Munchie.
Munchie loves to sleep with her human without you knowing she’s there except for her gentle steps and loud purring as she slips in to cuddle next to you. Her foster mom is always surprised to find her cuddled up by her legs as she's watching TV. She is very stealthy.
We believe once she is in a home where there is no competition, she will become more confident and outgoing given time.
Munchie is gentle and easy to handle but not the type of girl that likes to be held and loved on. On her terms, she will head bump your hand as you pet her without looking.
She likes to play with the ball in the doughnut toy on her own or with a dangle toy with her foster mom. She loves anything she can bat around. Loves to sleep in a cozy box. She loves to be in high places where she can comfortably look down on everything and still feel safe.
A favorite spot is on the back of the couch, under the couch, or she will make a nest with a blanket on the couch to take a nap. You can also find Munchie napping at the bottom level of the cat tree where again she feels safe. She wants to be with you, but on her terms.

We are an all volunteer, foster based rescue. Our cats/kittens are socialized in a home environment, and we get to learn their true personalities to fit them with their perfect forever home.
We do adoption tables/events on the weekends, and are happy to set up any meetings with our available cats/kittens during the week to approved adopters.
We do ask for your patience as our volunteers do have full time jobs as well as volunteering, but we think our adoptees are well worth the wait.
