Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gilbert is a charming little guy with a big heart and an even bigger purr. He was found all alone in a neighbor’s yard in late November with no prior human interaction—but the moment he was gently petted, he completely melted into a purring fur ball. It was clear right away that Gilbert was meant to be loved.
Now that he’s safe and thriving, Gilbert has shown himself to be a silly, spirited kitten who loves to play. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and currently enjoys playing with a 2-year-old male cat. He would do best in a home with another friendly cat to keep him company and help burn off his kitten energy.
Gilbert has met young children and did well, though he’d likely be happiest in a home with older kids who understand cat boundaries. He hasn’t been around dogs yet; he may be skittish at first but would likely adjust with time and patience.
Gilbert is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion who will reward you with purrs and personality, Gilbert might be your perfect match.
Gilbert is currently in foster care outside of the shelter. If you are interested in learning more or meeting Gilbert, please complete an adoption survey using the link below (copy and paste link):
All dogs and cats will be spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, preventative care, and microchipped.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home.
