Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rupert is an 11-year-old Hound/Bulldog mix with impeccable manners and a heart full of gentle joy. This handsome senior truly shines in gentle and dainty playgroup, where he makes the most of calm social time with other dogs and enjoys their company at an easygoing pace. Rupert walks beautifully on leash and takes pride in keeping his living space clean here at the shelter—proof of just how well-mannered he is. He especially treasures one-on-one time with volunteers, soaking up attention and companionship. With his jovial yet laid-back personality, Rupert is the kind of dog who brings comfort, smiles, and steady companionship to his human friends. He’s ready to spend his golden years in a loving home where he can continue enjoying the simple pleasures of life—good company, leisurely walks, and plenty of affection.

Adoption Questionnaire
Before you can spend time with a dog, there is a brief questionnaire that you will need to fill out. Our staff will review these questions with you in order to help you decide which dog is the right fit for you, your family, and your lifestyle. This information is confidential and will be used only to assist our staff in determining the best possible placement. Please spend the time necessary to make the best possible decision for you AND the dog you may adopt.

DHLP, Parvo Vaccination, Rabies Vaccination and Bordatella
Heartworm test for age appropriate dogs

Although dogs receive initial vaccinations from us, please make an appointment to see your veterinarian within ten to 14 days after you take your new dog home for a complete and thorough physical examination, and to continue with vaccinations as necessary.
