Meet Esher - a charming little gentleman with a soft coat and an even softer heart. This 1.5-year-old miniature poodle mix weighs just 12 pounds and is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate.

Esher is great with other small dogs, but larger ones are a little intimidating for him. He's a bit shy with new people, but after some treats and and a little patience, his happy, active, funny personality comes out. Esher would do best in a home with a companion dog and a younger active family. He has a lot of energy and enjoys both short strolls and longer walks, especially when he gets to explore by your side. He loves toys, fetch, enjoys car rides, and is just as happy snuggling up as he is heading out for an adventure.

Esher is pretty good on the leash and enjoys exploring with his person. He's still got puppy energy and some puppy habits, like mouthing, so older children or an adult household that can give him guidance and patience would be great for him.

Esher's adoption fee is $400, and he's ready to bring joy, companionship, and lots of laughs to his forever home. 🐾✨

Additional adoption info

We test animals for the following:

Dogs: Good with other dogs, possibly cats, food aggression, walks on leash, noting any other attributes we may know.

Cats: Good with other cats, litter box trained, noting any other attributes we may know.

We cannot test if any animal is good with children. We may know if an animal is possibly house trained, but cannot guarantee any animal in the shelter is house trained. We do not know if a dog is good with cats unless we are advised by a person surrendering the animal. We may have an idea of this depending on how the dog reacts to our community cats that live on the property.
