The Meats and Sweets litter (Sweetie Pie)

SirLoin: the gentle knight of the litter.

SirLoin might have a playful name, but this little guy is all about sweet, calm vibes, and heart-melting affection. One of the smallest pups in the litter, he's got a quiet confidence that's impossible not to love.

SirLoin enjoys the simple joys in life: zooming around the room, diving under furniture like a little explorer, and wrestling toys with his siblings. He loves human interaction just as much, often seeking out his people to play or snuggle up. Despite his small stature, this boy's spirit is strong, and he has a soft, thoughtful presence that makes him stand out.

His looks are just as charming: a sleek, almost fully black coat with little white accents under his chin, that looks like he has a white goatee and continues down his chest, plus white-tipped toes on his back feet that look like he's walked through powdered sugar. SirLoin also has an extra toe on his right back foot. It's an elegant and adorable combo that gives him a unique and cuddly appearance.

Smart as a whip, SirLoin picked up his name and learned to come and sit for treats by 8 weeks old. He's eager to please, gentle at heart, and perfectly suited for a loving family who will appreciate his soft, loyal soul.

All human and canine family members are required to meet. The adoption fee is $400

Additional adoption info

The final step is to sign the adoption contract and make the adoption donation fee of $400.00. This may seem high, but it is actually a bargain! Your new pet will be up to date on the necessary vaccinations required by the age of the dog at time of adoption, spayed or neutered, on heartworm preventative and flea and tick meds, micro-chipped, groomed, and well on his or her way with basic obedience and house training. All of our dogs will be adopted out with a collar and leash, and a PMR tag.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer rescue organization devoted to saving dogs from shelters, puppy mills, abusive situations and abandonment in North Carolina. Our members foster, transport and help the rescue efforts with their individual skills, experience, knowledge and expertise, and most importantly, their love of dogs.

At Pawfect Match Rescue we believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance regardless of their breed or age.

We take a different approach to rescue. We don’t try to save the masses; we just save ONE at a time and make them the best dog they can be by the time they find their forever homes.

By that we mean that we take them into our homes where they live amongst us and our pets and are treated as one of the family, not as a foster dog. We accomplish this by limiting our fosters to one or two per household.

Besides the basics of crate training and house training, we teach them basic obedience, we groom them, feed them a high quality dog food, and last but not least, we shower them with LOVE and attention that hopefully teaches them to trust again and realize that life really IS good..

We’ll never be able to save them all, no matter how many we try to pull and foster. So we believe that the one at a time approach with the extra TLC allows us to really KNOW the dogs and be able to match them more precisely with their new families.

This ends up being a win- win situation for all involved.

Pawfect Match is all volunteer and relies solely on adoption donation fees and public support. Most times our adoption donations do not cover our medical expenses.
