Lux is a beautiful 8-month-old gray-and-white male kitten with a gentle, loving nature. He was adopted from our shelter five months ago but was recently returned due to allergies that developed in the adopter’s child.
When Lux came back to us, we were heartbroken to find that he weighed only 4 pounds—less than she did at the time of her adoption, when she should have weighed closer to 8 pounds. He was painfully thin, yet despite everything, Lux remained sweet, trusting, and affectionate.
Since returning to our care, Lux has been gaining weight and strength, and is doing well. We don’t know why her food intake was so severely restricted, but we do know that with proper nutrition and love, he is thriving.
Lux is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and ready for a home that will ensure he is always well cared for.
Lux has endured more than he should have—but his gentle spirit shines just as brightly. Now he needs a home where he will always be safe. 🤍✨
