Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Eileen is a 1.5-year-old tripod hound girl who proves every day that having three legs doesn’t slow her down one bit. Don't let her fool you, she can run and play with the best of dogs!
While Eileen enjoys her outings, new places can make her a bit nervous at first, so she does best with adopters who are patient and willing to give her time to acclimate and feel secure in unfamiliar environments. Car rides aren’t her favorite—she may hesitate to get in—but once she’s settled, she does just fine.
At home, Eileen is a loving, affectionate companion who bonds closely with her people. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would truly enjoy having a canine friend in her forever home if possible. A fenced yard would be a bonus, but she’s very accustomed to going potty on leash and does great with that routine as well.
Eileen is generally a quiet girl, though she does like to use her voice when it’s time for meals or walks—just to make sure you don’t forget!
She would do well in a home with kids and is overall, a gentle, sweet soul looking for a family who will love her just the way she is.
