Valentino has a big heart, a goofy side, and a love for both playtime and companionship.
Valentino is a social guy who really wants to make friends. His favorite playmates are dogs who enjoy a little wrestling, chasing, and bouncing around. He can be mouthy in play, and while his style is a little awkward at times, he’s learning how to read his friends’ signals. After some good roughhousing, he’s just as happy to flop by the water bowl and share calmer moments with his buddies.
Around people, Valentino is also very excitable and can get a little bouncy, trying to jump up on you. He’s not a huge fan of leashes, but with patience and practice, he’ll settle in and understand that the leash brings the reward of outdoor time. He has lots of energy and does best with regular play sessions and walks.
In the kennel, Valentino can get stressed and vocal, but outside he’s a happy, relaxed boy who shines brightest when given love, playtime, and structure. He’s eager to please, excited for friendship, and ready to find a home that can help him blossom into his best self.
