My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes:
Hubba Bubba is a cute domestic shorthair kitten who is a curious and affectionate girl who will steal your heart with her endearing chirps and meows as she rubs against your legs while you cook, always ready to supervise your move. She loves chasing toys alone, like rings.
Though she starts a bit shy and might hide under the bed on her first night. But she gets used to the new environment really quickly. On the second and third nights, she started to sleep on my bed. You will see her right next to you in bed every time you open your eyes in the morning, where she'll drift off to sleep purring each night contentedly.
Hubba Bubba is around 1.5 years old and is gentle, loving, and endlessly devoted to her person. She's looking for a patient adopter who will give her time to settle in, but she will make you feel worthy! If you're ready for a sweet girl who just wants to be near you, Hubba Bubba is waiting to meet you!

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I have lived with cats in my previous home.

I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

While Hubba Bubba may require a slightly slower approach right as she settles in to make sure her positive progress continues, she shows behavior suitable for adopters with an average level of cat experience with cat parents who are preferably familiar with cat socialization or are open to detailed counseling by staff. Hubba Bubba would benefit from a calm and quiet adult-only home to allow for the best continuation of the socialization progress she has made while in shelter.

Member of the public writes: This pretty cat is an amazing girl with a huge heart and a story of resilience! Hubba Bubba is curious, playful, and wonderfully affectionate, proving to be very responsive to human interaction. She's an easygoing cat who is comfortable being handled by children and adults and has a great history with other feline friends. Though a bit reserved in her cage, she brightens up instantly with a gentle word.
Special Note: Hubba Bubba is a true fighter! She had her right paw casted by the ASPCA and she has a disabled right arm. This doesn't slow down her affectionate spirit one bit! Her striking silver tabby coat is absolutely gorgeous. If you want an approachable cat who will quickly adjust and bring joy and cuddles to your life, and who needs a family ready to embrace her unique situation, Hubba Bubba is your girl!
