My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet SpongeBob! 🐾

SpongeBob is a 7-year-old male dapple Dachshund with a sweet, friendly personality. He loves to follow his person from room to room and is always happy to snuggle up close. He even did great during bath time—what a good boy!

SpongeBob enjoys having his own cozy space, like a crate with a comfy bed, though he prefers not to be left alone in it. He gets along well with other dogs, especially those who understand and respect his personal space. And true to Dachshund form, SpongeBob is a big fan of mealtime!

If SpongeBob sounds like your kind of guy, head over to the Charming Pet Rescue website and fill out an adoption application.

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
