Buddster, a fun, active, curious chihuahua/shih tzu mix, weighs about 16 pounds and is around 4 years old. He’s house trained and crate trained but loves spending time on the sofa cuddling or playing fetch with his squeaky toys or ball.
He’s wary of strangers especially men. He needs very slow introductions to new people. A little patience and treats will be rewarded with a loving lapdog. He can be anxious and nervous and will bark if feeling threatened.
He was surrendered by a loving owner who went into assisted living. He has no history with dogs or children. He would likely do best in household with one or 2 adults. Since he likes exploring, a fenced yard would be preferred.

Buddster’s adoption fee is $295.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter.
