Potato is around 2-year-old, 40-lb dog who is fully vetted — neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on prevention.
A few months ago, Potato showed up at a home with another dog, and a kind family took him in despite already having two dogs of their own. Unfortunately, no owner was ever found, but Potato has shown himself to be a well-mannered and adaptable companion. He is both house-trained and crate-trained.
Potato is best suited for an only-dog household. ( Potato is dog selective ) While he prefers not to share close living space with other dogs, he has done well in boarding environments surrounded by other dogs and is comfortable being out on walks and in everyday settings. He is not highly reactive and does best with appropriate space, structure, and clear expectations. In the right home, Potato settles nicely and enjoys a calm, balanced routine. Did we mentioned that he has a fun personality or love of balls/fetch.
A fenced in yard would be a plus for Potato
