My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gilly!

Gilly is a beautiful 2-year-old black retriever mix with the softest soul. This angel girl is incredibly sweet and gentle, and while she can be a little timid at first, her heart shines once she feels safe. Having another dog around gives her a big boost of confidence—she absolutely loves to play and thrives with canine friends by her side!Gilly would do wonderfully in a home with a friendly, confident dog who can help her blossom and show her how great life can be. With a little patience and lots of love, she’ll reward you with quiet affection, playful moments, and unwavering loyalty. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who just needs someone (and maybe another pup!) to believe in her, Gilly is ready to steal your heart.

Go meet their pets

Thank you for your interest in adopting from West Valley City/Taylorsville Animal Services! We would love for you to come to the shelter and meet your new family member.

You can come to the shelter Monday through Friday between 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm and walk through to see the animals we have available for adoption.

Please keep in mind that adoptions are first come, first serve. We often have a few pets that would make a good match for each family, so if the animal you are interested in is no longer available, you can still come in and meet some animals to see if there's a good fit.

You can see all of our animals at www.wvcpets.com [wvcpets.com]
