My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Romulus - A Legend in the Making

Romulus is a striking, predominantly white kitty with a name straight out of ancient legend. At the moment, he’s feeling a bit shy as he settles into new surroundings, preferring to observe quietly before stepping into the spotlight. He has a thoughtful, gentle way about him, taking in the world with calm curiosity and a watchful eye.

With time and patience, Romulus begins to show the steady confidence and sweet nature that hint at the legend he’s meant to become. He’s the kind of cat who will one day happily rule a sunny windowsill, supervise your daily routine or become a deeply loyal companion once he feels safe and at home. If you’re looking for a cat with a noble name, a soft heart and a spirit that blossoms with trust, Romulus is ready to begin his next chapter with you.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
