My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Animal Profile: Bonbon is a 5 month old, 6-pound Dachshund mix that was picked up as a stray in Modesto, CA. The staff sent out a plea for this sweet girl who was at risk due to over crowding. One look at her little face and we had to get her out of here

Foster Update:

Looking for a delightful, energetic, loving and cuddly puppy who’ll be puppy size always? Bonbon the chiweenie is the puppy for you!

This wiggly little cuddler is full of delightful puppy energy and unconditional love. Bonbon thinks you hung the moon. She will charm you in mere moments and be charmed by you equally fast.

She’s sweet and playful, and loves toys and people. She’s thrilled to see you, happy to play,
and also loves curling up on your lap or being tucked in your arm.

This sweet young girl also loves her crate. She happily goes in it and sleeps through the night.
She’ll also easily go into it when you leave! She’s learned to self-soothe too and will often nap in it with the door open.

She’s making great strides with housetraining and goes outside a lot! Patience is key though.

She is also doing well with our cats!

If you’re looking for a fun, loving, loyal and so very sweet chiweenie, Bonbon is it!
