This helps Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue with pet care costs.
Harmony is an easygoing puppy who enjoys being near her people and is often content to sit or lie close by. She enjoys being close to her people and is often happy to sit on or near your lap during downtime. When relaxing on the floor, she may climb up to settle on you or curl in close, showing her affectionate and playful nature. She is still in the early stages of learning about the world and is showing typical puppy behaviors — eating, sleeping, playing, and exploring her surroundings.
Harmony enjoys playtime and likes chewing on toys and bones. Like many puppies, she is still learning what is and isn’t appropriate to chew, so supervision, puppy-proofing (such as keeping cords out of reach), and consistent redirection will be important as she continues learning good habits.
She enjoys being around other dogs and eagerly tries to engage them in play, regardless of size. Ongoing supervision and guidance will help her continue learning appropriate play manners as she grows.
House training is still in progress. Harmony has been introduced to a crate and will willingly nap in it during the day with the door open. At night or when her people leave, she may need some encouragement to go into the crate and can have brief, minor protests. Once inside, she settles quickly. She has not yet been introduced to a leash or harness.
Harmony is also learning appropriate mealtime habits and may benefit from being fed separately from other animals, especially while learning good mealtime habits. With continued guidance and positive reinforcement, she is expected to continue maturing and gaining confidence.
