My name is Hanzi T!

Meet Hanzi, a handsome German Shepherd boy who has soulful brown eyes.  His personality is that of friendly dog in meeting people, has a medium amount of energy and knows basic commands, i.e., "NO","SIT", "DOWN".   He likes car rides, and does well on walks displaying occasional stiffness, and agile enough to sometimes jump on people near him. He has a habit pulling hard on his leash especially when he sees or smells a small animal and is also interested in other dogs and people.  This is where his knowledge of commands and a strong arm come in handy.  His basic overall nature is that of a gentle, affectionate, social and independent dog who enjoys treats and toys, and thinks a sleeping pad is also a toy.  Unlike some dogs, he bonds quickly to his person and is protective of that bonding, but not aggressively. He is comfortable around older kids and big dogs, but not with any small animal.  All in all, he would be a great addition for anyone choosing to make him part of their family.  He is a good dog ready to be your best friend, and will repay you with his continued loyalty.
