My name is Peppy (FELV+)!

Hi! I’m Peppy, and I’m 5 months old. I was bottle-fed along with my siblings after we were rescued by For Pet's Sake Rescue. Animal control found us beside our mom, who had sadly passed away. Thanks to the love and care we received, I’ve grown into a happy, affectionate, and confident little guy.

I’m extremely easy to handle and absolutely love affection. I really have two modes: energetic, playful baby and sweet, snuggly purr machine. One minute I’m zooming around chasing toys, and the next I’m curled up against you, purring away.

One of my favorite things is playing fetch! Toss a toy, and I’ll chase it down, bat it around, and bring it back for another round. String toys are also a big hit. When playtime is over, I turn into the ultimate cuddle bug. I love giving kisses, rubbing my face against yours, and my favorite place to sleep is curled under your chin or right on your chest.

More than anything, I want to be part of your life. I’ll follow you around, help with whatever you’re doing, and make sure you never feel alone.

I have tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV). FeLV is a virus, not cancer, that affects the immune system and can shorten lifespan. However, FeLV-positive cats can live happy, loving lives just like any other kitty. I would need to live with other FeLV-positive cats or as your only cat. Dogs and other non-cat pets are just fine!

PLEASE READ THIS TO ADOPT: ***ALL ANIMALS ARE CURRENTLY IN LONG BEACH, MISSISSIPPI.*** We transport adopted animals every 2-3 weeks to Northeast states. 

Completed applications take precedence over inquiries. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. We will discuss additional details with potential adopters once we have an application on file. 

For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. We are located in an overpopulated area surrounded by high-kill shelters.

Adoption fees include transport, vetting and a MS Health Certificate to travel. Each pet is spayed/neutered, receives age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped and  flea/tick prevention.
