Meet Bruiser! Bruiser is a big-hearted goofball currently soaking up love in his foster home at the vet`s house while he waits for his forever family. This very good boy adores being with his people and has an easygoing, affectionate personality that makes him a joy to be around.
Bruiser is curious about the world—especially farm animals! He’s been around cows and horses, though he hasn’t quite learned that they’re not playmates yet. He gets along well with other dogs and would love a canine friend who enjoys friendly, social play. Bruiser does well with children and would fit nicely into a family willing to continue teaching kids how to respectfully interact with dogs.
He would thrive in a home with plenty of space, such as a property or a large fenced yard, and would be an excellent match for an active, dedicated person who can keep up with his energy and intelligence.
Did you know YHS offers a “Play Date” program? Whether you’re thinking about adoption or just want to spend time with a furry friend, Play Dates are a fun way to hang out for an hour, an afternoon, or even a couple of days. Stop by the front desk or give us a call to learn more.
Ready to adopt? Great news—our spayed/neutered pets can go home the same day! You can visit in person, call us, or apply online—whatever works best for you. Adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming, flea/tick treatment, rabies vaccine (for pets 3–4 months and older), and a microchip with nationwide registration.
Questions? We’d love to hear from you! Email, call, or stop by—let’s help you meet your new best friend ????
