My name is Dolores!

Dolores shouldn’t have made it.

She was found as a tiny kitten behind a mechanic’s shop—malnourished, covered in motor oil, and definitely not old enough to survive on her own. Those first weeks were touch and go. It took constant care, patience, and a lot of hope to bring her back. But Dolores never gave up. Not once. She held on with a undeniable strength, and spunk, that still defines her today.

Now fully healthy, Dolores has stayed delightfully petite at just 3 pounds, but don’t let her size fool you—she’s confident, spunky, and full of quiet joy. Because she was rescued at only a couple of weeks old, she’s wonderfully people-oriented and adores being as close as possible to her humans. Pouched in shirts, before as a method to keep her tiny body warm now just for comfort and snuggles, is her favorite place to be. Hense why taking her picture in a stocking so easy! 

Dolores has a calm, sweet demeanor with just the right dash of playful sass. She gets along beautifully with everyone she meets—cats, dogs, and children of all ages—and would fit seamlessly into just about any loving home.

Dolores has already overcome so much in her short life. She truly has a light inside her like no other kitten. She is beyond special and now all she is missing  is a beyond special person to cherish her as much as she’ll cherish them.
