My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rex!

Rex is a very sweet boy who absolutely LOVES kids of all ages! He loves too play cat and mouse which makes him hard to catch at time but with a little bit of Cheese in your hand he is willing. We are hopeful that his training will eliminate his want to run as he spent a lot of time tied up or in a crate.

Rex will be fully vetted including Neuter, Heartworm Test, All Vaccines including Rabies, Dewormed, Monthly Preventatives as well as Microchipped.

More about this shelter

The Moberly Animal Shelter is both the Shelter and the Animal Control. The staff members help by picking up stray or lost animals within the City Limits of Moberly, We and also run, clean, and find loving, forever homes for dogs currently residing at the shelter.

We serve the City of Moberly. (City Limits Only) We offer services of adopting animals to the public, and saving stray dogs. When a dog is picked up as a stray it is put on a Stray Hold. This hold is to ensure that the dogs do not have rabies, parvo, or any other illness and it also gives the owners some time to find their dogs.

All dogs that come through the shelter both stray or relinquished are temperament tested as much as possible and then put up for adoption.

If you live in the city limits of Moberly, you will be required to have up to date Rabies vaccinations.
