My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Novalee!

Novalee is an absolutely ADORABLE, teeny tiny Chihuahua weighing just 6 pounds, with a truly stunning coat that makes her even more irresistible. She’s estimated to be around 3 years old, though her exact age is unknown since she was picked up as a stray in Georgia.

This little girl is sweet and loving with all people and does well with other dogs. Because she’s so small, Novalee can get a bit nervous around overly energetic dogs at first, but once she feels safe and gets to know them, she settles in nicely. She’s the tiniest little thing and would do best with gentle canine friends who respect her size.

Novalee is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines—ready to find a loving home where she can feel secure and adored. If you’re looking for a tiny companion with a big heart, Novalee might be your perfect match.

More about this rescue

Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ, is a primarily volunteer run, no-kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high-kill shelters. Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Whether in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receives a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most importantly an abundance of love and care until they find their FURever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal over-population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs. We are an eligible charity under federal code 501(c)3 founded in 2004.
