Chase is a sweet and loyal dog, but like his name he likes to chase. We live on a farm and his characteristics of liking to chase cats, and farm animals don’t mix well. Chase also seems to be allergic to something on our property. This itching and licking drives my young son crazy, and due to school issues my young son is now being home schooled so the relationship has become extremely strained.
He is good with other dogs close in his size, he’s adorable and loving. He is good on a leash and never has accidents in the house.
I have tried for years to make things work between him and our family, and farm animals but we are not the right fit for him. He needs a home with good fences, and someone to take him on walks. He could be a great companion for someone who doesn’t live on a farm or have cats.
He doesn’t mind staying home for long stretches during the day, and doesn’t chew up furniture or damage anything. He is very smart and I just hope to find him a loving fit for him.
