Scarlet is a playful 7-month-old kitten with tons of personality. She loves to play with toys, especially wand toys, and climb her cat tree. She is super gentle with her paws (she has never scratched us), and she consistently uses scratching posts rather than scratching things around the house. At 7 months old, she still exhibits play aggression, and sometimes bites too hard. With a child at home, this is why we need to find her a family that can teach her appropriate ways to play without harming others. Scarlet also loves running water (like cat water fountains) and hangs out by the sink when the faucet is on.
We found her at 5 weeks old abandoned in our yard. She had an eye injury like her namesake (Scar from Lion King), but we have had that treated, and the vet has confirmed it is fully healed. Because of lingering scar tissue, her left eye does continue to water. Scarlet is up-to-date on all vaccinations and heartworm prevention, and she is spayed and microchipped.
