Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.
Meet Oscar! Oscar is approximately 1 year old, 42 lbs currently and he might have some Lab in his mix! In his foster home, he is doing great with his house training, crate training and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids, cats, and other dogs.
His foster says, `Hi from Oscar`s southern foster. Oscar is just the cutest, smart baby. He learns and picks up on things very quickly. He is treat motivated but knows how to sit and lay down. I am also working on wait and stay which is going very well. He walks well on a leash, if he stops walking he`ll sometimes stop and lean into your legs so you will stop too, I guess to enjoy sitting there for a moment, he`s so funny. He loves seeing his person, and greets them with all the love and excitement. He also likes to have relaxing time. He will lay in the living room with you and doesn`t always ask to be on the couch. He is happy to lay on the floor in the same room with his people and other four legged friends. It`s the silliest thing, he will sometimes wallow all over the carpet and roll over for a belly rub. It is so stinking cute. I call him a squishy baby because his face is so adorable you just want to squish it. He is sweet, smart, precious and loves to be with you. I honestly think he will be a wonderful addition to any family. I have fell in love with him and whoever adopts him, I truly believe they will be so happy they did!`
He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on January 2nd. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
