Jake is a sweet senior gentleman with the perfect balance of independence and affection. He loves being near his people and canine pals, but he’s just as content settling in for a long, cozy nap. His foster parent describes him as a “living teddy bear,” and once you meet him, you’ll understand why!
Don’t let the gray muzzle fool you — this guy still has plenty of pep! His foster parent sums him up perfectly:
“Although Jake is a senior dog, he has a great balance of energy levels. He loves going for walks and afterwards will get the zoomies for about fifteen minutes. Then, back to napping!”
Like many pups in their golden years, Jake has some mild joint stiffness, especially after resting, but it certainly doesn’t slow him down. He moves at his own pace and enjoys life just the way a wise old man should.
Jake has happily lived with canine companions both previously and in his current foster home. After slow, thoughtful introductions, he settles in well and appreciates having a calm dog sibling who enjoys a good post-walk zoomie and a nap session right alongside him.

All PAWS animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
