My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zibby and her siblings were born early September 2025! They grew up being handled, so they have a good start to socialization, but they will need time to gain trust with their new family and get comfortable in their new environment!

Zibby is so calm and so cute! She does so well with being picked up and held and has become a favorite at the shelter! She is excited to find her forever home where she can be treated like the Princess she is!

Hamsters can make entertaining pets, but need specialized care and enrichment. Please do plenty of research before considering adoption, here is a great place to start:
https://www.mnpocketpetrescue.org/hamsters

And here is a great video on setting up a proper hamster enclosure:

Though often considered a child's pet, no animals should be solely under the care of children, there is lots of misinformation about hamster care, and most enclosures advertised as hamster homes in pet stores are improper, so please be sure to read trough the link above, and do more independent research to be sure you're able to provide a proper enclosure for these furry little friends!
