Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I’m Lily.
I’m a young lady with a big heart and a soft spot for humans. I raised my three kittens like a champ, watched them head off to their own adventures, and now it’s my turn to choose a forever couch. Preferably one with room for me to curl up right next to you.
I’m friendly, confident, and never shy. Visitors? Love them. Laps? Yes please. Being picked up, petted, brushed? All happily accepted. I’m what my foster calls a true companion cat. I like to be nearby at all times, especially on the couch, and if you’re lucky, I’ll stretch out and settle right on your chest like I’ve always belonged there. If I can’t find you, I might let out a little crying sound just to make sure you haven’t vanished. It’s my way of checking in.
I adore interactive play, especially wand toys. They bring out my playful side and keep me feeling young.
I get along fine with other cats and even dogs, but I don’t really want to cuddle with them. Humans are my favorite species. I thrive on attention and affection and would do best in a home where I can be someone’s shadow, helper, and emotional support nap partner. I’m gentle with kids and pretty relaxed overall, just handle me with kindness and I’ll melt right into you.
If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, devoted companion who wants to share your space, your couch, and occasionally your chest, I think we might be perfect together.

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
