My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scooby's Story
Shaggy would agree....They don't get much better than Scooby!

This 2-year-old Hound mix was found on the mean streets of Houston. He weighs about 45 pounds.

A wonderful woman saved him and has been showing him the good life for more than a month. Scoobs is now the perfect couch companion, so if no dogs on furniture is your jam- this boy is not for you.

He has an unbelievably calm demeanor and the sweetest, most gentle demeanor. He is now at our rescue ranch in Fulshear, Texas, where he has made friends with everyone (dogs and humans) he's met.

Scoobs is housebroken, great on the leash, and non-destructive in his current home. We do not need to crate him.

Scooby is a joyful boy who loves pets and giving kisses and is a GREAT family dog, or a single person's dog. He would do well in a home with other dogs, but is fine alone.

Unfortunately, as he was living on the streets and not on heartworm prevention, he tested heartworm positive. He is going through heartworm treatment now and is ready for adoption locally now and will continue his treatment at our expense at our Houston vets, or he can be adopted out of state by mid-December.

This is a gem of a dog, just the easiest boy!!!

Scooby is neutered, microchipped & vaccinated and would benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands he has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with his new family.

Adoption fee is $350.
