Meet Percy- the definition of a "good boy"

At just 1 yer old and 57 pounds of golden lab love, Percy is everything you could hope for in a furry best friend. He's the total package: friendly, gentle, and just perfect.

he keeps a spotless kennel (we're pretty sure he is housetrained)
walks great on a leash, he does a little happy crisscross dance but doesn't pull
loves people, adores other dogs and kids and is fine with cats.

Percy is the kind of dog that just fits- the one who greets you with a wagging tail and lots of love!

Percy is fixed, up to date on vaccines. Percy tested positive for heartworm and has begun treatment. We are looking for a foster to complete his treatment here in NJ with 2 visits to Barnegat Animal Clinic . His adoption fee will be $45 0 .

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
