My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*Cece is currently on a fur-cation to get a break from shelter. She will be returning on February 16th. Please feel free to email adopt@calgaryhumane.ca for more information!*

**Cece is a Patient Paw, please ask about her reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**

Cece is on the lookout for a new best friend! This goofy girl is seeking a home that loves making snow angels as much as she does. After a busy day of playing in the snow, Cece loves to cuddle up on the couch and get some pets while watching a show together...until she is ready for a walk or some more play time!

Her confidence continues to grow; she loves to learn, will work for food and even gets prance-y paws as she follows you around! When first meeting Cece, compliments go a long way! She is used to being told how beautiful and perfect she is. After that, you`ll quickly see her energetic and affectionate personality shine through!

Cece is looking for a second chance in a home that`s positive, fun and full of love and playtime! If you find yourself looking for a friend to jump through the snow with, come by and say hi to Cece. The Adoption team is excited to introduce you and help start you off on your new life together!

Cece is:
- Open to older kids (15+)
- Cats unknown
- Open to dogs with intro

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
