Joey is a 5-year-old sweetheart who is looking for a loving new home. He was dropped off at our home, and we took him in with the intention of keeping him safe and helping find him a forever family. We kept him for quite some time and truly did our best to get him adopted, but with five dogs in the home, it has become more than we can manage long-term.
Joey has a gentle, affectionate personality and absolutely loves to cuddle and be close to his people. He does well with female dogs, but he is not good with male dogs, so he would do best as the only dog or in a home with a calm female companion. He has been around a newborn and has done very well, remaining calm and gentle.
Joey has always been on the slimmer side, but he is healthy and has been evaluated by a veterinarian, who confirmed that this is normal for him.
We are committed to finding Joey the right home where he can get the attention and stability he deserves.
