Azelea found herself homeless at the county shelter and had babies during her first night there. We quickly pulled her into foster care so she could have a more quiet place to raise her babies. Azelea’s kittens have found forever homes and now it’s her turn. Azalea can be nervous in new situations so will need some patience to settle in. She has done well on first meetings with new cats. Seeming welcoming as first to sniff noises and groomed my person cat, whom is also welcoming of new kitties. But will also give back what she receives from another cat if she’s hissed at will hiss back. But over all think she would enjoy finding a cat buddy in her forever home. She does however prefer a home without dogs. She gets very defensive when they get close to her bubble and will smack and hiss to let them know to stay away. Not sure if this is from being a protective mom or just how she prefers things. She enjoys attention but is not a fan of being held. Azelea is ready to blossom in her new home.
Estimated DOB: 4/11/23
Adoption fee: $100 plus 6% KY sales tax
