My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milan is a confident, affectionate girl who truly enjoys human companionship and will seek out laps to curl up on. She is also playful and brings a wonderful balance of sweetness and fun to a home. She would do well as an only cat, or with another mature, easygoing cat who prefers to keep to themselves. While she hasn’t been formally tested with dogs, Milan would likely do well with calm, respectful ones. If you’re looking for a loving companion who enjoys cuddles, playtime, and being close to her people, Milan may be just the one!

More about this shelter

The Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is a volunteer run no kill animal shelter that takes in abandoned or surrendered animals, provides them with medical care and attempts to find them forever homes. Every animal that enters GDHS is quarantined, assessed and examined by a vet (if necessary), spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given vaccinations prior to being available for adoption. We do not receive guaranteed funding from any source and rely on the generosity of our community.
