My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Nyla,  pronounced Nala, is a sweet, special girl who is looking for a new home.  Nyla came to us from our owner surrender program. She is unsure of new people at first but she just needs a little adjustment and quiet she needs a calm sweet voice so that she can feel safe.  She lived with another dog in the home so we believe she will do well with another dog who will not bother her.  Once she feels safe in a home, she truly is very sweet and loving.  This girl loves her belly rubs and scratches behind her ear.  A calm quiet home would be best suited for her ❤️ .  She will bark at strangers and she also is on a special diet for stomach sensitivities. She might not be able to hear as well because of her ears hematomas

Nyla is microchipped and up to date on vaccines, heartworm and flea & tick preventatives. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $300.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.

Additional adoption info

We require an application. After reviewing the application, your home sounds suitable for the personality of the animal you are looking for, then a home check and a meeting is set up. For our rescue animals an adoption donation is required. All our rescue animals are up to date on shots, heartworm tested or on preventative, dewormed frontlined and have a microchip.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
