My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

River Leigh: Ready for a Calm, Loving New Beginning

This lovely two-year-old Mountain Cur/American Bulldog mix came to us with a difficult history, but River Leigh is an incredibly forgiving and wonderful dog making strides every day! She needs a calm, understanding environment to feel secure, which is why she is best suited for a home with older, quieter children. River Leigh is a great socializer—she has no food aggression and is good with most other dogs. She has been fully vetted and microchipped, and now, thanks to a local sponsor, her adoption fee has been covered!

Open your heart to this deserving girl and give her the chance at a wonderful future. Apply for River Leigh at Marc4change.org!

More about this rescue

The Marion Animal Resource Connection (MARC), found at marc4change.org, is a vital non-profit organization serving multiple counties in Tennessee, dedicated to improving the well-being of pets and people.

MARC acts as a lifeline for vulnerable animals through its core mission:

Spay/Neuter Services: Providing affordable, low-cost services to end pet overpopulation in the community.

Rescue and Fostering: Offering healing, critical care, and temporary homes for strays and animals in need.

Adoption: Facilitating the process of finding loving, forever homes for rescued pets.

Advocacy: Promoting responsible pet ownership, humane treatment, and community education.

By supporting MARC, donations directly fund the life-saving mission, covering everything from vaccinations to specialized surgeries.
