If you aren’t familiar with Libby, who was Nancy at Miami Dade Animal Shelter just short few weeks ago you are going to want to watch the videos and check this story out! It’s a Christmas miracle 🎄❤️⛄️
Meet Libby, short for Liberty, a cuddly American Bulldog who radiates warmth from the moment you meet her. You may recognize her because Libby’s story went viral on the internet with thousands of her fans rallying around her to get her out of a packed Miami shelter and up north and safe! And thank you to the angels in Florida who got her seen by one of our fosters who sent her a bed and toys, that made her feel ok momentarily. Money was then raised by dog lovers all over the world to transport her!❤️🐾
But this would never have happened without the support and help from Puppies and More Rescue in South Jersey who tagged, pulled her and made her journey from FL to New Jersey possible!
Libby is 2-3 years young, spayed, up to date on vaccines and a very healthy girl, house broken, definitely had some training before prior owners dumped her at the shelter.
Libby carries a survivor’s spirit wrapped in the softest, sweetest personality. She’s equal parts playful goofball and professional snuggler — the kind of dog who will hop in your lap, melt into your arms, and then zoom around with pure joy seconds later.
Libby loves walks, running, car rides, belly rubs, people, and anyone willing to match her energy for playtime or cuddles. And apparently now snow ❄️ ⛄️
She will do well with someone who works from home, is retired or home most of the time. She will need daily walks or runs, loves being active then naps the rest of the day!
Her expressive eyes, wagging tail, and giant smile make her impossible not to love. She’s the perfect companion for someone who wants affection, loyalty, and a little sunshine every day.
Libby is ready for her happily-ever-after — a loving home where she can be cherished, safe, and adored just as deeply as she loves. One meet-and-you’ll-be-hooked… this girl truly has a heart of gold.
She needs to go to a home with no cats or small dogs. No small, young children as well because of her size and strength. She is dog friendly with a low energy dog. Or would be happy to be your one and only.
She has lost 15 lbs and still needs to lose a little more weight but will continue to thrive with someone who takes her for her walks and cares about her nutrition.
All she wants to do is please you, loved her people and wants to be with you as much as she can. She has more love to give than even describable.

Our puppies are all in loving foster homes and an approved application is required to meet the puppies. Please be patient as we are volunteers and we will need time to process your application.

More about this rescue
We are a small Group of Volunteers in the South Jersey area who rescue death row puppies and get them into loving foster homes where we keep them for a minimum 10 days to update vaccines and socialize into a family setting with the ultimate plan of placing the puppy into a loving forever home. We educate the community about spay and neuter and adopting instead of buying from a pet store or breeder.
We are a small Group of Volunteers in the South Jersey area who rescue death row puppies and get them into loving foster homes where we keep them for a minimum 10 days to update vaccines and socialize into a family setting with the ultimate plan of placing the puppy into a loving forever home.
