This helps Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Phoenix (born Oct. 1, aka Zuzu) is a smart, easily-trainable sweetheart. Whenever she meets a new person, she flattens her ears, wags her butt, and prepares to give kisses. She's an eager puppy, so she's still learning how to sit calmly when greeting new people. She learned "crate" in one sitting and continues to learn other commands quickly through positive reinforcement. Potty training is going smoothly (very few accidents) and she cracks her foster family up as she bounds through the snow and chases her balls. She makes adorable puppy snores and she cuddles with anyone willing to sit still. She was with her mom and brothers until 9 weeks old and is now waiting at her own foster home for her final adoption. Her mom was a German Shepherd mix, which explains her striking coloring, and the best guess is that dad had some lab, based on the look of her two brothers and her velvety coat. She'll be the perfect Christmas puppy. Come meet her.
